Today we had whaea donna and we done a blogpost analysis. We had to make a google form to make a chart to see how much post we did this year and last year but some people didn't find there 2019 on so we had to do just the new one. Here is my one

Maitai bay bronchus

I.A.L.T Upload our Maitai bay brochures   

A few weeks ago we did a maitai bay brochures to tell people where is maitai bay  is, what maitai bay is and other things too. You will see on the brochure when you scroll down. If you don't know what a brochure is a brochure is when you add three tables that is on your chrome book and make sure you go down not across and then you write into the table and that is how you make a brochures.

What did you learn?

I learnt about safety and learning about the other animals.

What Did you find Challenging?

I found challenging was writing it and finding the photos for it 

What could i improve on?

I could of made it bigger and change the colour so you can read it 

What could I do better and why do I have to do that? 

Kiwi Can

 W.A.L.T upload a post showing what we learnt in Kiwi Can today. 

Today we had Kiwi Can and our focus was on Respect. The Catch phrase was 'we respect our school we will do it because were cool'. Today we played snap, Crackle, pop and so, ma, ca ,lo. We played these games to show Respect to our peers in all of the games. At the end we played G,K,Q and when back up to class.

How did you show respect today?

I showed respect today because when we were play the games I treated the other how I wanted to be treated.

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed playing the games and learning what respect means.

What could you Improve on?

I could improve on is siting up straight when we are in a circle waiting for instrcutions.

Have you been to Kiwi Can before?

pool session

 Yesterday we when to Te punawai Ora pool to learn how to snorkel. We got mask, flippers, diving suit and a snorkel. We got changed and sat on the side of the pool. Oliver gave us some hand signals if we where not doing good or to tell him if we are good and we don't need help. We learn how to use a snorkel and mask so when we go out to the ocean there will not be not to bad because we have had experience on how to use them.

Refection

What did you learn?

I learn how to use my mask , wet suit , flippers and snorkel and so when I go out I wont need help when I am out in the ocean.

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed learn how to put on the hold my breath under water and blow it out of my snorkel so I can breath.

What is one goal you could have to do with your ability in the water?

Stick with my buddy because when we were there we had to learn how to stick with my buddy.

Waitangi

 W.A.L.T  Reflect on our class trip.

This week on Tuesday we went to the Waitangi treaty grounds. We left on the bus and then arrived at the Waitangi ground where we meet Monika and Caitlin. After we meet them we line up and walk up stairs to the classroom and had morning tea. After that we when for a tour and we saw wakas and then we saw the carvings. We walk thought the museum and saw the treaty and some photo of the maori and the pekiha in the meeting.

What did you enjoy?

I enjoyed learning all about the maori and pakeha in there meeting and also I

learn some of there names.

What did you find interesting?

I found interesting was how old the wakas are and that the chief didn't sign the treaty 

early he signed it later in the year.

Kiwi can

I.A.L.T Upload what we did for Kiwi can and write about it.

Today we had kiwican. To learn values and have fun. For this term our focus is on Accountability. It means Ownership and honest. And this was our catchphrase. We are honest we are true we take ownership for what we do. These were the games the we played was bang. Bang is a game that you all stand up and we someone says your name then you sit down and the two next to you shoot each other and when it is only two people left the stand in the middle and then the preson has a speacle word that you have to shoot and the the one that last wins. The next game we played was colour run. Colour run is a game that you have chose colours and the colours were kakariki, Kikorangi, Ma, Mangu and Parauri 

Our next  games was GKQ. GKQ is a game that when you play other people and someone says a question then you need to answer it.

And our last game was traffic lights. traffic lights is a game that you have a preson in the middle and the people are on the other side of the preson and then the preson siting down will say whero, kakariki and  kowhai.

Sudoku

I.A.L.T upload our maths task write about it.

Today for maths we played a game with Mr Metzger this game call Sudoku. The rules are that you can't have the same number in the same line Sudoku is a game that you 9 boxes and they have number in them and some of the number a not there. It go to 9 and down we had more boxes then that . We had a 4X4 witch is a 8 one and then we got another one that was 6X6 witch is 36.

Kiwican

High tide and low tide is a game that you have to have a chair and a speaker so when the speaker says high tide you stand up and if they says low tide the sit down on the chair. The next game we played was impossible connection. Impossible connection is a game when you play music and when it stop and the person says 5 people heads then you need to find 5 people and put your heads together.

Our last games was GKQ. GKQ is a game that when you play other people and someone says a question then you need to answer it here are some photos.

Geometric

I.A.L.T Upload my Geometric Art task to my blog and write about it.

Last for Art we were doing some geometric art and this is how we made it.

1. Pick a Geometric animals.  
2. Draw your animals out line for its body on a A3 or A4 paper. 
3. Use a ruler and straight the line on the outsides.
4. draw Geometric shapes in side the animal use a ruler. 
5. think about the colours that you going to colour it in with.
6. cut it out 
7. Get a black paper and glue it on.
8. Cut it out and keep some black outline on it.

Last week for writing we were doing a coma quiz, slideshow and animation. We had to do some writing lessons so we now here to put them. We had to buddy up with someone in our class and  I chose Bailee to make a slideshow

Barrier Game

Today for cybersmart we did and fun game called Barrier Game. For this game we had to tell a buddy where the shapes go and and then when we had finish that we had to show what we got right and what we got wrong. My person who I was doing it with was Bailee. Our descriptive writing

Last week we did our descriptive writing about some one special to us. I did my big sister for some one special. We had to plan on a  hamburger to describe them. Our first part was the intro, look likes and hobbies. The last one was how much do they mean to you and then we had to put it all together.
